But they are not really that bad - the DC folk really know how to drop those links. DC is a city that loves its Happy Hour - a time when we can catch up with friends or meet new ones.

With few other clubs in the vicinity, almost daily specialty drinks and a list of trends and fashionista usual - this place is a success (on weekdays and weekends). Eyebar is filled with modern furniture and the home of trance music, an attractive environment and a full bar. This Sizzler a living room with the energy of the sexy and energetic in the crowds that pack. The contemporary decor includes minimalist cube ottomans and banquets in style - everything the eyes. While here the DJ's spin hip-hop, retro, 80's and fun - all the people dancing on the loose-leaf table tops or split the space between the bodies. And if you're really daring, you may even taking a spin on the stripper pole! Play Lounge can be found at 1219 Connecticut Ave. (at 18th St. NW).

Cafe Citron (Dupont Circle) - Feeling like a bit of salsa and mojitos to fill your day? Take a look at this bar / restaurant with a Latin edge that offers some of the best mojitos and caipirinhas in the area. If you do not come here to eat, the top one is definitely the place to be - allowing you to see the entire scene and support for people watching habit. Every night is a good night here, and most end up with the multitude of Latinos and Latin lovers dancing peeps in each area, including the seats of the car. Degrees Bar & Lounge (Georgetown) - Located on the lobby level of the Ritz-Carlton, this bar and lounge has been designed to capture the story and the mood of this historic incinerator building - with its exposed brick walls dating from the 30s, black slate floors and 175 feet tall brick chimney of the bottle which serves as the center of the hotel. Degrees presents a menu of classic cocktails including the signature hotel of five degrees Fahrenheit and the martini Zentini well to swap vodka and produces a less fruity version of the Cosmo (even men who are willing to order at the bar ). Sesto Senso (Dupont Circle) - This nightclub in the funky Dupont Circle (located at 18th St. NW 1214 Connecticut Ave.) This is the place to see and be seen. Those who wish to dance can satisfy their cravings at Sesto Senso, where DJs spin creative blend of pop and Middle Eastern / European house music. This place is not just a dance club, however. Sesto Senso serves great Italian food (especially pizza and last year) before the 11 hours and if you're coming for lunch - no more dessert! Their tiramisu is a must.

Helix Lounge (restaurant and bar) - a short walk from the hotel reception Helix, locals and visitors are drawn to see n 'feel of this room - a social interactive zone that tickles all your senses. Inside the place, mood changes every few hours, choreographed by a sophisticated lighting system. No matter what night of the week, stylish 30-something guests take a seat on the stool and watch the crowd (full of girls and the types of companies) to rest in the plush sofas in the open space.
