The Lassen Volcanic National Park (California,USA)- This is a beautiful place to getaway to and is located about 50 miles eastward of Redding. The park has four volcano types-mud pots, steam vents and painted dunes.
There are the Sierra Nevada mountains on the south, the Cascade Range on the north and the Great Basin desert on the east. There are many campsites and motels here.
Waikiki Beach (Hawaii)- This is one of the most beautiful beaches and tour operators are giving out rooms at cheap rates. Here there are volcanoes and the famous luaus.
Berlin Wall (Germany)- This is a great historical visit and is located on the east side of Berlin. There is also the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, the St. Hedwig’s Cathedral as well. There are many budget hotels here.
Angkor Archaeological Park ( Cambodia)- This is in North Cambodia and is also called the Angkor Wat. There is also the Bayon Temple, and some other examples of ancient art which will take your breath away. Do a boating trip up the river Mekong and see the local culture at Phnom Penh. There are budget accommodations near Siem Reap and the airport.
Belfast (North Ireland)- Here is the place of the real Irish pub. Go on the Titanic boat tour, or see the Botanical Gardens, the Ulster Museum, the Belfast Castle and the Belfast Zoo. There are hostels and many mid range hotels as well.
Cartagena (Bolivar,Colombia)- This is a beautiful city overlooking the Caribbean Sea and so that means a wonderful beach holiday! One of the most popular places there is the Playa Blanca. Cape Town (South Africa)- This is the southern most city of South Africa and has places to visit like the Cape City Town Hall which is an amazing Victorian construction, Robben Island, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, among other things. You can take a cable car to the top of Table Mountain and explore the Cape Peninsula. There are numerous hostels, guest houses and suchlike.
Waiheke Island (Hauraki Gulf, New Zealand)- At a distance of 35 minutes from Auckland, you can do the famous wine-and-olives tour here.
Puerto Penasco (Sonora, Mexico)- This is a beautiful beach city and is south of the Arizona border. There are many affordable resorts gere.
Waterton Lakes National Park (Southern Alberta, Canada)- This place has icy blue lakes, old gullies and awe inspiring glaciers. This is a really affordable place to go to!
