Many people spend their vacation time, or nights away from home, hotels and motels across America and the world at some point each year. Choosing a hotel for them may depend on many different things. It seems that the favorite of the hotels that are associated with a chain, which are in various U.S. cities and throughout the world. Why so many people prefer chain hotels? Come to think of some of the main reasons that people prefer these hotels.

In late July, the American Hotel & Lodging Association published the results of its 2006 survey of housing. This survey was the largest of its kind and this year, 9300 properties were investigated in more than 100 areas of the hotel. The survey was considered the most comprehensive identification of industry trends.

A hotel serves as a home away from home for most of their customers and therefore it is important that each hotel offers a comfortable, relaxing and safe environment for its guests. Almost all hotels offer the basic amenities required for a comfortable stay, but most hotels offer some comfort that they can really make an unforgettable trip.
